I've always had a talent and love for drawing, painting and being creative. Makeup & fashion fascinated me at a young age, and my interest only grew as the years passed. After doing make-up for friends and family throughout highschool, I realized that I really wanted to pursue makeup as a career. I went on to attend world-renowned makeup artistry school, Blanche Macdonald, where I graduated with honours in 2007.
Along with freelancing, I worked in cosmetic retail for a number of years, which has allowed me to gain extensive knowledge in various brands of skincare and makeup. So far, my career has allowed me to work in many facets of the industry, and as an artist I think diversity is important. I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with many amazing and talented people. In addition to a wide range of bridal clients, I've had the opportunity to work on various projects for the CBC, The Family Channel, and the Canadian Armed Forces among many others.
I'm based in (but not limited to) Halifax, Nova Scotia where I provide make-up services for weddings, TV, film, commercial and photography. I'm also a member of IATSE local 849 and hold a NS Cosmetology Association License.
Makeup artistry isn't just about the art. It's being able to connect with my clients, provide an enjoyable experience and make them feel their very best. I love what I do!
